Terms of Service

Last updated: 1 August 2026

1. Who we are

OverturnFine is operated by Overturn Ltd, 124 City Road, London, United Kingdom, EC1V 2NX ("we", "us", "our"). These terms apply whenever you use overturnfine.co.uk or buy a document through it ("the Service").

2. Not a law firm, no legal advice

OverturnFine is a document preparation service. We are not a law firm, we are not solicitors, and nothing we provide, on this website, in a generated document, or in any communication with us, is legal advice. We prepare documents based on facts and grounds you confirm are accurate, using rules and logic we've built from published UK legislation and guidance. For complex cases, or if you're at all unsure, you should seek independent legal advice.

3. What the Service does

You upload a photo of a parking notice or related document, and we tell you, free of charge, what stage it's at and what your options are. If you choose to proceed, we prepare the appropriate letter or court form for a one-time fee, shown to you before you pay. Every document is based on facts and grounds you personally confirm before it's generated, you are responsible for the accuracy of what you submit, especially where a document involves a statutory declaration or statement of truth sworn or certified by you.

4. Payment and pricing

Prices are shown in GBP before you commit to any purchase, and depend on the stage and document type your case requires. Payment is processed securely by Stripe, we never see or store your full card details. Each product is a one-time payment, not a subscription.

5. Refunds

If you haven't yet generated or downloaded your document, contact us within 14 days of payment and we'll give you a full refund. Once your document has been generated, the service has been delivered, so we consider refund requests after that point on a case-by-case basis, for example if there's a genuine error on our part. If a document we prepare for you is rejected, or your case is otherwise unsuccessful, that alone isn't grounds for a refund, we prepare the document properly based on what you gave us, we don't control the outcome of your case.

6. Your responsibilities

  • You must be 18 or over and have the legal authority to deal with the vehicle/penalty in question.
  • Everything you tell us must be true and accurate to the best of your knowledge, this matters especially for any statutory declaration or statement of truth, which is a sworn legal document, knowingly submitting false information on one is a criminal offence.
  • You won't use the Service for any fraudulent, unlawful, or abusive purpose.
  • You're responsible for checking every field on a generated document before signing or submitting it.

7. Our liability

We prepare documents carefully, using rules-based logic checked against real cases, but we can't guarantee any particular outcome for your appeal or case, that depends on the council, adjudicator, or court, not us. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for the relevant document. We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under English law, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

8. Your data

How we collect and use your personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time, for example as our service or the law changes. If we make a material change, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
